SPEAKER: Welcome back to Week in Advance, my name is Aronn from WSU Global Connections. Let’s take a look at all the student involvement opportunities coming our way for the week of March 24th through the 30th.

This week’s spotlight is happening on Thursday March 28th at 5pm Pacific, it’s WSU’s Birthday!

In partnership with the Alumni Association, the student government is hosting a virtual birthday party for WSU.

Join us on Zoom where we will be baking cake pops, playing Bingo, and for the lucky winners, taking home prizes!

You won’t want to miss this celebration of WSU’s 134th birthday!

Then be sure to check out all the other events happening this week.

Like on Monday at 2pm, learn the basics of Mannerism in this workshop designed to help you communicate effectively.

Also on Monday, starting at 5pm, join the Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities for the SURCA awards.

Then on Tuesday at 5pm, learn to make Macrame Planters at this craft night.

Finally, on Wednesday at 5:30pm, learn the basics of taiko drumming at this introductory, beginner-friendly class.
