Global Campus Esports Team
Global Campus’ Official Esports Team, founded in 2022, competes with other college teams on a national stage. Our team is the first official, collegiate esports team in the state of Washington representing a fully online college campus. We recruit and provide scholarships to three outstanding varsity esports team members. The team competes against other college teams in the video game “Rocket League” and is affiliated with the Electronic Gaming Federation (EGF), a national collegiate esports organization.
The Cougs are going to the EGF
In order to be eligible for scholarship consideration you must:
Be admitted to WSU Global Campus and paying Online Student Activity (S&A) Fees
Be enrolled in, and complete, a minimum of six (6) semester hours during each of the Fall and Spring semesters
Maintain a 2.5 GPA at minimum
Be available for team and community events up to ten (10) hours per week
Scholarships are determined on a semester by semester basis.
