Martin Luther King Jr. said, “darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” Please join ASWSU Global as we watch “Hidden Figures” on Disney+ to celebrate the country’s “second Independence Day”; the freedom of enslaved African Americans in the United States at the end of the Civil War.

The event will start at 7:00 pm (PT) on Monday, Jun 20, and the first 7 Global Campus students to register by Monday, June 13th will receive a free popcorn bucket and popcorn in the mail. Additionally, those who stay until the end of the event will have the chance to win a copy of the book Becoming by Michelle Obama. Eligibility: Must be a current S&A fee-paying Global Campus student to receive prizes in the mail.

How to participate:

2. Please be sure that you have a Disney Plus account or free trial.
3. Keep an eye out for the watch link that will be sent out 15 minutes before the movie starts to the email you used to register.
4. Select the link and join the party!
