Representatives from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) will visit Washington State University April 9–11 for an onsite accreditation review. WSU graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to attend their respective open forum, which will allow for a unique opportunity to meet with the Evaluation Committee. Both forums will be livestreamed for Global Campus students to participate.

Online participants may use the chat feature on YouTube to share their student experiences with the NWCCU representatives. To use YouTube’s chat feature, log in to YouTube using your Gmail account. If you do not have a Gmail account, you can create one for free.

Washington State University has published its Year Seven Self-Evaluation Report in preparation for the visit. The report is available online, along with a set of frequently asked questions. The report focuses on NWCCU’s five core standards, and includes responses to past recommendations from NWCCU. WSU’s accreditation was most recently reaffirmed in 2013. Accreditation of an institution of higher education by NWCCU indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of institutional quality evaluated through a peer review process.
