Join WSU Global Grad and Veteran Jeff Willadsen and Assistant Director of Student Services, Joy Thompson as they discuss how WSU students who are active duty military members, veterans, reservists, or military family members can better reach their academic goals and achieve college success. They’ll cover a wide range of topics including degree planning, academic advising, veterans’ financial benefits, and what to do if you an active duty member or reservist who is unexpectedly called on to deploy. They will also discuss challenges military members might face during their college experience and provide information about helpful resources like free tutoring and veteran’s affairs support. This session is designed for current WSU students who are active military members, reservists/national guardsmen, veterans and military family members.
