After Lauren’s partner dies from cancer, Lauren moves back to live with her mother, Crystal, in Oklahoma. Crystal loves her daughter endlessly; however, she doesn’t accept the fact that Lauren is a lesbian and hopes that her daughter “will go straight”. Things start to heat up when Lauren’s brother, Justin, comes to town with his fiancée Carrie to open up fulfill their dream of opening a winery. Justin leaves Lauren and Carrie in charge of the marketing side of the winery and enlist the two to design new labels for the bottles. Quickly, Lauren and Carrie get closer and closer and realize that their bond is stronger than a friendship.
