Power, Privilege and Inequity

Conference Summary: Who holds the power, who has the privilege and what is inequity? Ever heard white privilege and thought, “I am not privileged because of XYZ?” White privilege is not saying you specifically grew up with money or fancy things. It means that your skin color did not make it more difficult for you to get to where you are. We will take a more in depth look into what power, privilege and inequity means and how to have the hard conversations about privilege while also still learning about it yourself.
