How to Participate in a Global Connections Event

how to participate infographic cover

Participating in Global Connections events is simple—you can join from anywhere with an internet connection!

  1. Find an event you’d like to attend and register through the Involve student platform.
  2. After registering, you’ll receive a reminder email with the event link.
  3. At the scheduled date and time, just click the link to join!

You can join these events from most laptops, desktop computers, and mobile devices, and no special software or downloads are required. You don’t need a webcam or microphone, but you’re welcome to interact with the presenter and other Cougs using the chat box. Most events last 30–60 minutes, and you’re free to join late or leave early as needed!

For Non-Global Campus Students

Everyone is welcome to attend Global Connections events, including WSU students from other campuses, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Please note: only Global Campus students can register through Involve. Others can add events to their calendars and then use the “Join on Zoom” link on the event page when the event begins.
