Esports Team

Founded in 2022, WSU Global Campus Esports is the first official collegiate esports team in Washington to represent a fully online campus.

A PAC 12 First

We were the first school in the PAC 12 to offer esports scholarships to online students, setting a new standard for online collegiate competition.

Our varsity athletes currently compete in Rocket League, but our offerings are expanding into other major collegiate titles such as League of Legends, Valorant, Overwatch, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Fortnite.

In addition, our program proudly supports the Washington State Scholastic Esports Association and its mission to grow high school esports across the state.

Recruiting

We’re always looking for the next Cougs ready to compete. We are openly recruiting all competitive players, not just Rocket League athletes. If you are interested in games like League of Legends, Valorant, Overwatch, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Fortnite, or even other titles, we want to hear from you.

To get started, email James Hoplin at jhoplin@wsu.edu.
