WSU Global Connections offers non-credit programs designed to help you strengthen your skills and expand your knowledge in a range of valuable fields. Complete a program to earn a digital badge you can showcase on social media, your digital resume, or portfolio. Some programs also include a certificate and graduation cord. Explore the current and upcoming skill-building opportunities below.

Cougar Leadership Program

The Global Cougar Leadership Program is a six-week non-credit program tailored for Global Campus students to cultivate leadership skills on an individual level and within a group setting. The program emphasizes self-development, personal growth, and the acquisition of leadership competencies.

Pathway to Coug Day

The Pathway to Coug Day is a structured, empowering journey designed to prepare WSU Global Campus students, especially those passionate about advocacy, for meaningful civic engagement at the Washington State Capitol during the annual Coug Day at the Capitol.

PACNORWEST Student Leadership

Earn your PACNORWEST (PNW) Student Leadership badge by completing this skill-building program designed to connect you with inspiring leaders, engaging breakout sessions, and opportunities to grow in real time with your peers. 

This is an in-person conference that we are offering a virtual option to our Global Campus students and is only available once a year.

Principles of A.L.O.H.A.

Principles of A.L.O.H.A. is a fully online, five-module skill-building experience blending mission-driven purpose, measurable outcomes, and innovative engagement. The program will be divided into two cohorts (spring and fall). Hosted by Dr. Gerry Ebalaroza-Tunnell, Global Campus alum and award-winning author of “Let’s Live A.L.O.H.A.”

The Green Zone

The Green Zone program is an interactive workshop that helps faculty, staff, and students better understand and support veterans, service members, and military families. Participants learn about military culture, common transition challenges, and practical strategies to foster a welcoming and supportive campus environment. Open to all students, staff, and faculty.
