Reimbursements

WSU Global Campus offers reimbursement programs to support your health, wellbeing, and campus engagement. Explore the opportunities below.

Please note: These reimbursement programs are funded through WSU Global Campus Services and Activities (S&A) fees. As a result, eligibility is limited to currently enrolled Global Campus students who pay S&A fees.

Connections Travel Grant

Planning to attend an event at a WSU campus or other approved location? The Connections Travel Grant can help cover your costs.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this grant, you must be a Global Campus S&A fee-paying student; students in your final semester, make sure you have an updated address in myWSU.  

How to Apply

  1. Before your trip, submit the BEFORE-Travel Reimbursement Form at least two weeks prior to travel.
  2. After your trip, submit the AFTER-Travel Reimbursement Form to complete your application.

All expenses will be reimbursed after the trip, with a maximum reimbursement amount of $250. All expenses must be for travel to an event in one of the five physical WSU campuses or a pre-approved non-WSU location. 

  • Lodging 
    • To be reimbursed for lodging, the student must present an itemized receipt that includes their name, the total amount of money paid, nightly taxes, and any cost-sharing details.  
    • Please note that we only offer reimbursement for lodging for students who live more than 50 miles away from the event location.  
  • Meals
    • Receipts are not required for reimbursement.  
  • Transportation
    • Itemized receipts for airfare, rental cars, buses, or trains are required for reimbursement.
    • Reimbursements for personal vehicle expenses are provided on a mileage basis; no receipts are needed.  
  • Miscellaneous
    • Itemized receipts for parking, registration fees, etc. are required for reimbursement.  

Cyber Coug Fitness

Stay active and healthy with the Cyber Coug Fitness Club: Gym Membership & Equipment Reimbursement Program, through which Global Campus students can submit receipts for local gym memberships or home fitness equipment and earn up to $125 each semester by completing healthy habits.

ASWSUG Reimbursements

Additional reimbursement programs are available through the Associated Students of Washington State University Global (ASWSUG).
