Start your semester strong with Week of Welcome (WOW) — a week of fun, informative, and community-building events created just for WSU Global Campus students.
Whether you’re new to Global Campus or returning for another semester, Week of Welcome helps you kick off the term with confidence. You’ll discover essential student resources, meet support staff, and find new ways to get involved in the Coug community.
Throughout the week, you’ll:
- learn about key academic, financial, and wellness resources available to Global Campus students
- connect with staff from a variety of student support offices and programs
- wrap up the week with a virtual networking event filled with games, music, and Cougar spirit

Start your 2026 Fall Week of Welcome by connecting with the Global Connections team and discovering the programs, events, and opportunities designed for global campus students. This fun and welcoming session will introduce you to team members, highlight extra- and co-curricular programs, and give you a preview of Week of Welcome events happening throughout the week.

Feeling overwhelmed by school, work, and life? Join us for a practical, uplifting session designed to help you reflect, reset, and refocus. Learn time and stress management strategies, explore what balance really means, and walk away with tools to thrive through life’s shifts.

Intentions and Mindfulness: Breathe In, Begin Well
Learn evidence-based mindfulness skills to support your academic success. Join this expert-led session with an open mind and your questions. Through guided reflection and grounding practices, students will leave feeling more centered, focused, and ready to engage fully in the opportunities ahead.
