SUMMARY:ASWSUG Valentine's Movie Night: Love\, Simon
DESCRIPTION:Join us and watch on Tubi the story of Simon\, a 17-year-old who is yet to reveal to his family and friends that he is gay.\n17-year-old Simon Spier is a gay teenager who is afraid to tell his friends and family that he is gay. After learning about an online site for closeted gay students at his high school\, Simon joins and meets someone who goes by the name of “Blue”. Things take a turn when Blue and Jacques’s (Simon’s pseudonym) emails are discovered by Martin and Simon is blackmailed by Martin in an attempt to help Martin to win over Simon’s friend Abby. Simon makes it his goal to find out who Blue is. After many suspicions\, Simon is at a loss and keeps lucking out on who he thinks Blue is. Along the way\, Simon’s secret is revealed and people learn that he is gay. Shutting everyone out and facing humiliation is something Simon struggles with\, but is shocked when his friends and family are accepting.
