Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” Please join ASWSU Global as we watch “Hidden Figures” on Disney+ to celebrate the country’s “second Independence Day”; the freedom of enslaved African Americans in the United States at the end of the Civil War. \nThe event will start at 7:00 pm (PT) on Monday\, Jun 20\, and the first 7 Global Campus students to register by Monday\, June 13th will receive a free popcorn bucket and popcorn in the mail. Additionally\, those who stay until the end of the event will have the chance to win a copy of the book Becoming by Michelle Obama. Eligibility: Must be a current S&A fee-paying Global Campus student to receive prizes in the mail. \nHow to participate: \n\nInstall Teleparty on your browser (i.e. Chrome\, Edge\, Firefox).\nPlease be sure that you have a Disney Plus account or free trial.\nKeep an eye out for the watch link that will be sent out 15 minutes before the movie starts to the email you used to register.\nSelect the link and join the party!

This event is perfect for both kids and parents who would like to enjoy a fun summer activity and connect with fellow-Cougs. To participate\, please join with your baked goodies pre-made\, so we can all decorate at the same time!
