The Global Connections 2020-2021 Online Book Club will feature three titles that all deal with the topic of race. The third book selected for the 2020-2021 academic year book club is White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism by Robin DiAngelo. From Goodreads: The New York Times best-selling book exploring the counterproductive reactions white people have when their assumptions about race are challenged, and how these reactions maintain racial inequality.

Global Connections Bingo Game Nights are returning for the spring 2021 semester. You’re invited to take a well-deserved break each month and join us for a few rounds of virtual Bingo! The games will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. PT on the following dates: Tuesday, March 9th Wednesday, March 31st Thursday, April 22nd Tuesday, May 4th Monday, May 24th Bingo cards will be emailed to players on the day of the game.
