DESCRIPTION:WSUPlease join President Kirk Schulz and the WSU community statewide for the president’s annual State of the University address. \nThe address is one of the kickoff events of WSU’s 2018 Showcase activities—the annual celebration of the excellence of the University’s faculty\, staff\, and students. \nThe past year has been marked by remarkable achievements across the University’s statewide enterprise. From record-breaking enrollment to major steps forward in advancing health care\, from unparalleled success in the athletic arena to WSU’s growing presence in the Puget Sound area\, there is much to celebrate. \nPresident Schulz will highlight examples of notable progress from the past 12 months and point out how those successes set the stage for the University to become one of the nation’s top 25 public research universities and an increasingly important resource for ensuring the future vitality of the state of Washington. \nThe address will be livestreamed on YouTube

DESCRIPTION:Meet other Global Campus students and test your knowledge during the next online trivia night!  The student selected topic this session is the 1990s!   Prove how well you remember the decade that gave us grunge\, the World Wide Web\, and Dolly the sheep at 7 p.m. on March 27. \nHere’s how it works: Participants will be randomly placed into virtual teams with fellow Global students. Teams will be given a question and can collaborate to determine their answer by mic or chat.
